FACULTY OF ARTS: BA

The students joining the First Year B.A. Course shall select six subjects as follows from the group given below:

The students can select more than one subject from one group.

Subject in Group “A” is compulsory.

Subject chosen from Group (B) to (H) are at General level.(Not more than 5 subjects)

The students willing to choose the subject at special level (for S.Y. B.A. and T.Y.B.A.) must choose the same subjects at the General level for F.Y.B.A.

F.Y.B.A Subjectss

Students of F.Y.B.A. must choose 6 subjects as follows:-

S.Y.B.A Subjects

The students studying for the B.A. (Special) Degree shall study the following subjects during the second year:-

Group A- Compulsory English

Group B- (Student has to select any one subject at special level from the following four subjects)

▪ Marathi-G2-S1-S2

▪ English-G2-S1-S2

▪ Economics-G2-S1-S2

▪ Political Sciences-G2-S1-S2

Group C- (Student must select any two subjects at general level from the following six subjects. 

While selecting two subjects, the student has to exclude that subject which he/she has chosen for special level.

▫ Economics/Politics         

▫ Marathi/English

T.Y.B.A Subjects

The students studying for the B.A.(Special) Degree shall study the following subjects during the third year.

Group A-  Compulsory English

Group B-  (Special paper continues as per S.Y.B.A. Subject group)

Group C-  (General paper continues as per S.Y.B.A. group)
